Garden of Remembrance

  • Loved ones have been buried at Oxon Church since 1852. Although now closed to burials, our churchyard not only provides a haven for wildlife (see our Eco Church page here) but a haven of peace for people too.

  • The churchyard is home to a small number of Commonwealth graves in memory of those who lost their lives in the Great War and World War 2.

  • Our Garden of Remembrance is a wonderful peaceful place to reflect and be still in a busy world. We are soon to open the final plot of the Garden of remembrance, ensuring the people of this parish have somewhere to place their loved one’s ashes for years to come.

If you would like to discuss how we might help you lay a loved one to rest, please contact the vicar . Details at the bottom of this page.
